The Function of Sidewalk which Still being Ignored

There are still many pedestrians which ignore the functions of sidewalk that has been reserved for them. For instance, in my campus we often see the academic community, such as students, lecturers and campus employees which are still ignore the existence and the functions of sidewalk. Seeing the parking area is very insufficient caused many four-wheeled vehicle which parking on a side street campus. While the activities on campus continued from morning until late evening. If are still many community college running in place which should be passed by the vehicle, Will lead to further impede traffic on campus streets.

So far, I do not know exactly what related reasons why many people in campus are still ignore the existence of sidewalk. Maybe there is a logical idea which could be the reason for this case, that is could have been due to factors a personal habit which continually nurtured and did not trying to be repaired so that it is difficult to change the bad habits.

Whereas, in fact the presence of sidewalks besides to bring order a traffic on the streets of the campus also serves for the safety of pedestrians themselves and makes them more comfortable to walking without being disturbed by the number of vehicles passing, and also vehicular traffic did not disturbed by the number of pedestrians.

My Dream House

The house is one of the most basic needs for humans. As a place to start and end all the activities, the house is certainly should be made as comfortable as possible. A variety of home styles from different countries can be an inspiration in the design of the house that we choose. There are several types of home that I want to build in the future. Here are three examples of the style that I chose as refferences, these are houses the European style, American style houses and modern minimalist style wooden house.

European-style house is the typical house of European that usually have a fairly high wall coupled with several pillars. Then ornaments in an oval mirror with white or gold frame are also showing a characteristic of European home decoration. The gold color will give the impression of elegance and charming. In addition, we can also add some carvings to complete the house until more very European look.

American-style house has a characteristic that is simpler than the European-style home. American home is known as home design "federal" with the architectural style was influenced by contemporary Europe from the Greeks and Romans. Some characteristic of  

American-style homes include floor made of wood. The shape of the house round symmetrical and has many windows and cornices. Sometimes there is also a semicircular window. Moreover, red-brick material is also become the characteristic of homes in the southern United States. To add to the impression of "federal" are usually there is also a fireplace to warm the body complete with chimney.

The last is a wooden house with a modern minimalist style. Wooden model house this modern minimalist theme I choose because a minimalist looks neat and simple. Besides giving a sense of comfort and shady, the wood will show the impression of a unique and classic that makes the atmosphere more naturalistic so that we will feel totally at one with nature without leaving the impression of modern. Design of wooden houses can also be combined with natural stone or evergreen trees and ornamental plants. Houses with this style is very suitable to serve as a place to relax as the villa.

Among the three types of houses I have described above, the wooden house modern minimalist style is my favorite kind of house. The reason is because I really liked the art and the things that seem natural and historic. The Europe-style I like because it has the elegant architecture with adding by ornaments and gold colour. As a suggestion, if you are not too fond of the theme of luxury and glamour like a European-style house or not too fond of traditional design too, as an alternative you can choose the design of modern American style house with wood floors.
