There are still many pedestrians which ignore the functions of sidewalk
that has been reserved for them. For instance, in my campus we often see the
academic community, such as students, lecturers and campus employees which are
still ignore the existence and the functions of sidewalk. Seeing the parking
area is very insufficient caused many four-wheeled vehicle which parking on a
side street campus. While the activities on campus continued from morning until
late evening. If are still many community college running in place which should
be passed by the vehicle, Will lead to further impede traffic on campus
streets.
So far, I do not know exactly what
related reasons why
many people in campus are still ignore the existence of sidewalk. Maybe there is a logical
idea which could
be the reason for this case, that is
could have been due to factors a personal habit which continually
nurtured and did
not trying to be repaired so that it
is difficult to change the
bad habits.
Whereas, in fact the presence
of sidewalks besides to bring order a traffic on the streets of the campus also
serves for the safety of pedestrians themselves and makes them more comfortable
to walking without being disturbed by the number of vehicles passing, and also
vehicular traffic did not disturbed by the number of pedestrians.
